Predicted fall out from the USA Today story

I’ve read everything on this story, all the facts and opinions and here’s where I’m at:
The review of Title IX processes will wrap up in the spring as Tom Galligan said, I expect many Title IX office staffers to be fired.
Tom Galligan could be forced out, but I doubt it seeing as how his time as interim president is coming to an end anyway.
Scott Woodward is fine, he wasn’t on campus for 99% of this.
Ed Orgeron is probably fine. There is no evidence of coverup, only incompetence from LSU leadership. You can make the argument that he’s ultimately responsible for anything and everything with his program and he must go.
Verge Ausberry is gone. Deleted his texts with Drake Davis, he’s done.
Mickey Joseph is gone too for his involvement with Davis.
Joe Alleva is an unemployed bum and will remain so.
King Alexander will be forced to resign from Oregon State.
Hopefully the ultimate outcome is that LSU revamps it’s protocols for sexual assault on campus.

him being the public face of this (LSU story, not necessarily specific instances) is not going to help him.
People will expect heads to roll.
and most want it to make the biggest splash possible.
Verge will not be a big enough public figure.

Awwwww, that's too bad.

After reading the USA Today article, I’m thinking the authors are helping set the stage for a return to the Obama era “Dear Colleague” protocols set by the Dept of Education. This is where the accused are practically assumed guilty and they must prove their innocence. All the while they can be kicked out, lose scholarship funding or placements, etc before they have successfully fought the charges.

If the NCAA hands down level 1 penalties on football on top of this story Orgeron will probably be fired.

Somehow Bahnsen will survive the purge.

The ncaa violations had nothing to do with orgeron

Well we don't know that yet that is just what LSU has released as a self-imposed penalty.
They are not going to give LSU a lack of institutional control for 2 penalties. If they do it will be from new findings.

Agreed, all of these things happened in the past, all the guys are gone from the program. News cycle moves fast, either way, this is over sooner rather than later. In a few months we will see a story about LSU's outside firm and what they discovered.

What was O supposed to do and he didn't? He should suspend players and if allegations are true he should kick the player out of the team. The rest of it is in the hands of the law enforcement and the university officials. What am I missing?

What did Mickey Joseph do?

Nothing really except that public pressure will want a big prize. Like someone else said, Verge Ausberry doesn’t move the needle, Ed does.
Not saying it’s right or fair but it’s reality.

I think Mickey is ok based on the info we have
Likely involved because someone told him to be

Hopefully there isn’t damning transcripts from those meetings he attended with Davis
