A) Dec 2017
B) 2018
C) 2019 or later

The wheels are in motion, it's just a matter of time IMO. I thought it would have happened by now, but it obviously hasn't yet.

Alleva has clearly lost the support of the fanbase with his very-public missteps, so why hasn't the trigger been pulled yet so that we can move into a brighter future with a competent AD at LSU? Regardless of whether you like JA or not, agree with his past decisions or not, he is basically a lame duck AD at this point with hardly any real power whatsoever in LSU and SEC circles. What's the point in him continuing to lead the LSU AD?

As long as LSU athletics is in the black and making money, he has a job.

Nope, about to win 10 games in football, haul in a top 10 class and athletic revenue is up etc etc

And College World Series last year, gymnastics #2 and basketball is back.

I'm told Alleva had zero to do with Will Wade and Nunez is to thank for Wade.

He has already survived ruining football and basketball. At this point I think he'd have to murder a child at the next BoS meeting.

Depends on Orgeron and little else.
I am thinking that given the current dynamics, it will be interesting to check into the health and harmony in the football program in late January, 2018.
I think we'll have a much better read on Canada, recruiting and other issues by that time.
