Cheers to you my friend. I'm so proud of my dad for taking up this responsibility. He has made it his life mission to help anyone dealing with suicide or anyone who has lost someone to suicide. Are you part of the BR/Gonzales chapter?

Southeast Texas Chapter in Houston. I've met the people at the LA Chapter at the AFSP conference this past January. I may walk in the LA walk this year and obviously the Houston walk.

Every day each of us come in contact with a lot of folks who are fighting demons, have personal issues, or could easily be on the edge of ending it.

The least little thing we do might set someone off and we have no clue as to the situation another might be in.

Have dealt with a lot of suicide in my career and some did not surprise me; some totally blew me away.

We never know.

Prayers to the Mettenberger family as well as the many out there who have a problem we don't know about.
