Prayers sent...great man. First time I ever saw Hokie was in a Baker uniform. I went to scout Baker for an upcoming playoff game and yes, he was incredible.

Hate to hear that. Heard the tail end of a radio commercial asking to send Hokie some love. Didn't know what that was all about. Cancer sucks!!

I love Hokie. He and Bobby were the only reasons why I listened to WWL 870. I pray that Jesus will embrace Hokie and his family during this difficult journey.

I spoke with one of his children a few minutes ago. I am really sad because he was diagnosed with liposarcoma after I was diagnosed with pleomorphic rhabdoyosarcoma. They originally thought he may have RMS. Life is not fair.
I will keep praying some miracle happens and he starts to beat this.

Prayers for Hokie! He is in ICU. I agree that prayers are very import not only for Hokie but also his family. He will be in my prayer list until he gets better (cured).

I really hate to hear that he has gone down so quickly...seems like just a few weeks ago that he was diagnosed. I remember hearing him say that since he was going to MD Anderson and the last game was in Houston, he wanted to work the game from the hospital....
