Look in the mirror, he's meh and you want to make him the greatest coach of all time. NC State fell apart like a bad high school team.
He's meh, 1 & done in March Madness

Oh ok, Nostradumbass. I’ve book marked this for later. It will be fun to revisit and show how absolutely unhinged and stupid you are. Good times ahead for sure. You are like a yappy little dog. Bark bark bark. You must not get the attention at home that you so desperately crave. Funny how you keep saying I’m melting over this while your behavior is the very definition of melting. Don't be afraid of who you
are. Stupidity is a good look on you.

So when Wade doesn’t come back, are you going to run? Why do you think that Will Wade is the only person that can coach LSU? It’s obvious that you’ve got Wade vs the field for an opening that’s not even going to exist. Your cult like obsession with him is creepy as hell. So why is it Wade or bust?

I've tried plenty of other WDS posters on here, so now I'll try your dumb arse.
Name TEN current coaches with a better resume than Will Wade by age 43. GOOD LUCK.

Because they cant. The irrational hate towards a coach who wins consistently is really something to see. That coupled with inexplicable defense of the worst basketball coach in LSU history and one of the worst in SEC history is mind boggling.
I was unsure but am starting to think Wade may come back. Even anti Wade Guilbeau is alluding to it. Boy you think the melt is bad now, it will be nuclear when he’s announced. They were even melting about Wade in the baseball threads last night.

If you replace "Wade" with "Kiffin" this exact post was made just a few months back.

If Schroyer is really being hired in Verge’s old position, it’s just a matter of time. I think it’s possible Will would just not be willing to eject on NC State after 1 season. 3 of his 4 jobs he’s done 2 years at a place and then moved up. Sounds like LSU would rather get Will Wade right now or punt for 1 year, save $, and then do whatever it takes in 2027.

No, it’s being intelligent enough to recognize what’s going on.
We are several days past the end of our season. There’s been no announcement that McMahon is coming back (last year they announcement came in February).
The one coach who is close to the school president and chair of the board is still playing his season. Seems pretty obvious they’re going to let his season play out and make a run at him. If he doesn’t say yes, we are likely keeping McMahon another year.
Not the decision I would make, I would move on from McMahon, regardless of whether it’s Wade or someone else. I’m sorry you’re not intelligent enough to pick up on what is actually occurring.
You seem blinded by your dislike of someone to the point you are melting down on a message.

Not really. In both situations, LSU has a target. That target is unavailable to be hired until a later date. As to Kiffin, the administration never wavered. You never heard other candidates being leaked as realistic candidates. They got a commitment behind the scenes and stuck with the reed fire storm.
This situation is only slightly different and that we can keep our coach until we make the move. By keeping our coach, we provide our target a little bit of cover.
If this is what is happening, our administration will have shown on two different occasions that it can establish a target, and go get that target.

Mind blowing. This is how amateur athletic departments operate.
This has all the makings of getting left at the altar. I hope McMahon is given no NIL money next season. You might as well flush that money down the toilet.

I've told people on here there are only THREE legitimate possibilities for the RAMPANT cases of WDS we have on the rant:
1) Baseball bros who want to keep basketball RIGHT WHERE IT IS. They realize that if LSU ever gets back to the Dale days, (and Wade sure as FLUCK had us heading there until our pussy AD at the time rolled over and took it up the arse), it will RIGHTFULLY command more financial support which will squeeze funding for the college sport they "love" that 99% of the country doesn't care one IOTA about.
2) The race angle. Notice all the love for Larry Bird, ahem... I mean Max Mackinnon, and the where are Ron Zipper??? stupid arse comments.
3).They are INDESCRIBABLY stupid people.
It can be one, two, or all three of the above. Can anybody think of any more plausible reasons?

I'm still willing to assume we have a commitment from him. Just like we did with Kiffin.

The RACE angle is a bit much Ryan C. Weak arse argument in this case.
You MUST know THAT basketball is NOT everyone’s GO-to sport. Apparently you can’t COPE with FACT that not everyone likes the sport. I wish LSU basketball was more successful but I REALIZE it’s not EVERYONE’s sport. Differences OF opinion can be accepted.

You're correct about that. However, the VENOM AND ANGER directed at Wade is disproportionate to "just not liking basketball", and goes far beyond just not being everyone's "go to sport."
I only offer the race angle as a plausible, POSSIBLE explanation, and believe me I'm fully aware that 99% of the time when that accusation is levied (especially in the media), it's absolute bullshite.
I believe the main reason is the baseball bros are scared to death of what a strong basketball program will do to their sport's resources and fan attention. The race thing is most likely secondary, sort of a 2 birds with 1 stone type of deal.
Also, a small percentage are just stupid and don't know any better.

Hell, I'd take any of these coaches over Wade:
Mike White
Fran McCaffery
Steve Prohm
Jeff Capel
Kyle Neptune
Jerry Stackhouse
Juwan Howard
Kevin Keatts
There are very few coaches I would personally rank as being below Wade, maybe Damon Stoudamire..

Haha!!!
Outside of maybe Fran (who isn’t coming to LSU), which one has a better resume than Wade.
Most of these guys have been fired at least once based on performance.

The guy he replaced and immediately out performed at NCST.

He was 28-50. Hahahah!!!
