Potential of this Ole Miss game

If we win this game it opens up so many possibilities for us. BK getting his first SEC top 10 win. Improving our season and momentum going into next year. But the biggest part of winning this game is that we would have a truly meaningful SEC West showdown against Bama the first time in 3 years. I know victory against them isn’t likely, but makes me think about how I took the buildup and atmosphere of some of these games for granted a few years ago. Now we can have a game like that again

Obviously if we win this game and the Bama game means everything, I think every LSU fan would have signed up for that in Brian Kelly's first season.

We will see what House is made of. Kiffy is a great play caller. We need to keep them off balance. If JD 5 can look like he did last week I’m feeling good

You're gonna get your wish. LSU wins Saturday, setting up Bama showdown. We'll get our shot.

This game is going to be a shootout. I am hoping our special teams don't cost us a possession

LSU needs to keep the momentum rolling and play with the same confidence as last wee. If this happens and they can get OM on their heels, this bodes well for LSU. OM hasn’t played a team as complete as LSU yet this year. The pressure may be what LSU needs to get over the edge in this game.

Exactly. Spot on. Just give the LSU fans something to be excited about. It’s been over 2 seasons since we have felt that.
Never know. Bama isn’t untouchable. Crazier things have happened. Hell this same Bama team lost to a very bad Aggie team last season. I surely hope we wouldn’t waste a win over them going 8-4. I’d at least hope we’d win a NY6 bowl.

Love your confidence. I’m gonna put some money on our Tigers

LSU wins if they control the run game.

Wait, we’re “complete”? I think we’re ok with a QB good at scrambling. Y’all don’t realize that Auburn, Miss St and Florida are all worse than us right now. CBK will have us playing better and better each game but there are losses to come this year. Just win the bowl convincingly and I will be happy.

I’m just happy that we’re competitive with a completely different looking offense.

A win against ole miss would certainly create some excitement. What’s more exciting is the thought of a legit, competent coach and coaching staff having two weeks to prepare and game plan for Bama. Saban gets that against us every year but our past coaches just weren’t on the same playing field with saban.

Kiffin will try to run up the score in this one. He’s mad all the attention is on TENN and he can never beat saban

News flash…both O and Miles did in fact beat Saban at least one time each.

And a team that survived and should have lost to an even worse LSU team.
