I hope we're not seriously considering Slade. Where the hell has he been coaching the past few years?

Slade is a very, very poor DB coach technique wise. He relates well with the players, but he brings very little to the table otherwise. His recruiting also deteriorated with age. Hopefully you guys hire Terry Joseph, though.

The obvious answer here is to convince Ryan Clark to retire because of his sickle cell anemia trait. Then put visions in his head of working his way up the LSU coaching ladder until someday he becomes the head coach (which he said he wants). Then you offer him the DB coach position.
We have a young DB coach who played at LSU and recently won a superbowl. Win win. Someone get me Ryan's number.

i don't think terry joseph is too highly thought of as a position coach.
