You don't have to have a source to see either Miles or Alleva is gone. To much out there to turn back.

There's always a connection among players and coaches, but you know Saban didn't make things tight knit in our program like Miles did.

Nope. His way wins far more titles than Miles' way now doesn't it.

Miles is gone, and Jimbo has been lined up longer than people think. He'll get $6M per year, bring in coordinators, keep our most important assistants/recruiters, and the leaks to Rabalais came from one or two of our favorite current assistants on staff.

The internet told me so.

My friend's grandmother's great uncle, who is buried in New Orleans said Miles will be back next year.

There are two problems. First the buy out will be twice the largest buyout in NCAA history. The perception doesn't look good on LSU.

Notre Dame bought out Charlie Weis for $18.9M. I don't remember ESPN shitting all over them about it.

Making a life long family out of our team isn't even close to a weakness or reason Miles lost any games. It's something he does better than Saban.

ND is not the football factory that we are nor is Weiss the kind of man that LM is.

That being said, there doesnt need to be a source. I would be shocked if he stays given that the powers that be have not come out and squashed all this talk.

That's a bad example. Charlie Weiss was fricking terrible. He ended his career there with 3-9, 7-6, and 6-6 seasons. Talk about functionally retarded ADs with contract extensions, what The AD did with his at ND should be criminal.

Historically they are, and the media loves em. But you're right. Financially, it's not unprecedented. That was my only point.

It is pretty crazy to kick him out so quick with what he's established here and who he is. I like the guy AND the coach (minus just a few things that make huge differences in the worst possible times).

When it comes to things that are out of my hands, I try to 'accept' everything as it happens. I'm just along for the ride and hoping for the best.

The rumors are interesting, and I hate to share them out of respect for Miles and others. They wouldn't be bad news, though.

Totally forgot that one but a quick search and I see the media did rip them a new arse.

The large SEC to date was Florida at around $8 mill.

Fair enough. I shouldn't have added that media part because I admittedly didn't care or pay attention much to that one.

I don't have a "source ".

And my honest opinion is that the situation is so out of hand and blown up that LSU will not fire Les. You have too many recruits making comments, too much media backlash and the process was completely botched.

Just my opinion
