Does anyone have any experience getting back to the Crowne Plaza hotel off of College Dr after a game during contraflow? What’s the best route to take?

If this is for the game this Saturday then you wont have a problem getting off of campus anywhere.

If this is for a normal game and you want to get to College the easiest, then you should park at the Ag center.

You can take Dalrymple and get on I10W. Then go towards downtown BR and take the first exit - Government St. U-Turn and get back on the interstate going back the direction you need. I've been doing this for nearly 20 years.

Planning to park on Dalrymple by UHigh. Figure that gives me the best chance to get in that direction

Then you need to park in the vicinity of the Ag Center and exit via South Stadium, South Lakeshore, Acadian contraflow. You will be back to Crowne P in 20 min but go all the way to interstate. If you take Perkins you will get caught in stoplight traffic and triple your journey time.

turn right on Broussard Street by City Park, then turn right on Perkins Road. Take Perkins Road to College Drive and College Drive to the Crown Plaza service road. I do this drive all of the time. If you want to avoid Perkins, you can take Broussard Street to Acadian Thruway, then turn right, then get on I-10 East Bound, take first exit (College Drive) and you are virtually at Crown Plaza. Easiest exit from Tiger Stadium, but you have to walk about 0.75 miles to your car after the game.

Very good directions. But to get to Crown Plaza he'll be better off staying on Broussard to make his way through Webb Park/Westdale Heights all the way to College and come south. Perkins will be a shitshow from overpass to college.

parked at U-High last week. Left stadium with 1:45 on clock in 4th

Took 20 mins from leaving parking lot behind fraternity houses across from U High to my place on Corporate Drive.

Damn, that's a helluva difference in traffic between when you left and staying for the alma mater after the game (which almost all of our crew did).

We use to do this at Louise street but they started blocking that exit for safety reasons. But that's the trick right there. Go north to go south and east.

We park near Memorial Tower. We've found that the quickest exit is Dalrymple to Broussard to Acadian. You can either go the back way (before TJ Ribs) to College or get on I-10 and quickly get off at College.

Maybe park on the last lot near River Road- we used to live in riverbend subdivision and that was the easiest way to get home
But I feel your pain
