How about the Georgia version?

He passed for 200 yards in one half. Which is great. Which led to 10 total points. Which is not great.

Or the Purdue version?

He had a great game. Was able to outrun them and threw a touchdown.

I know BK has used this system before, AND I’m in no way anticipating this is the case going forward, I’d just like to know y’all’s opinion regarding the topic.

I dont think he will put in a 2 QB system but I do believe he will be a lot less hesitant to use the hook going forward. I also believe that the objective coming out of spring practice is to utilize the downfield passing game more and better. Dont be fooled. Nuss playing in the bowl game was a shot across JD's bow.

Posters can DV this if they want but they also DV'd the hell out of my post that Nuss would play in the bowl game to validate his performance in the SECCG before the Transfer Portal window closed.

We saw two quarterbacks

We also saw a 35-0 game at halftime and the boilermakers offense and defense both barely having a pulse.

Last season JD needed all the playing time he could get for obvious reasons, but this season it should be different. So, there’s not going to be a true two quarterback system but Nuss should get more playing opportunity. And as he does, hopefully he can begin to better protect the ball.

JD could shite the field an entire 1st half and still start the 3rd quarter.

Like Spurrier always said, if you’re playing 2 QB’s you’ve got no QB.

Yet he rotated QBs in season and not because of injuries more than just about any coach I’ve ever seen. And before you start saying some bullshite about it only being when he didn’t have a great QB to hand the keys to, Dean and Wuerffel rotated across two seasons. They were both top-rated SEC QBs by the numbers and he still went back and forth.

This. Where the hell do all of you think Kelly’s blatant bait comment to the announcers about not wanting to be passive to protect the ball and being ok with a few interceptions if it comes with being aggressive and pushing the ball downfield. He knew they would repeat it on the broadcast. He knew it would be out there, along with the fact that Daniels and Nuss rotated the entire game.

That wasn’t an accident. It wasn’t a mistake. It was clearly a message to both QBs going into next season. More is going to be expected of them and that’s a good thing. If it means they both play, I don’t give a frick as long as that comes with balanced play and wins.

zero.

2 QB systems don't work. Daniels is the starter.

Here’s who needs to start at QB — whoever MALIK NABERS says.

Seriously, just go ask him what HE wants and then do it.

If he wants 1 QB, ask him which one. If he like 2QB system better, give it to him. Maybe he wants to see a 4QB system? OK, we’re gonna make that happen by Spring.

Whatever Malik says.

I don't see BK going to a 2 QB system and I'm not in favor of that, but in games like the the last three games against Arkansas, Texas AM and Georgia where the opponents defense has seemingly figured out how to stop JD, it's good to know that you have someone who can come in for a series or two to make some plays that the defense isn't ready for, and remind JD that our receivers CAN make plays if given a chance. I'm good with an interception while trying to make plays rather than have a QB that holds on to the ball too long or is indecisive. And yes, JD did a great job for us last season, and hopefully will again this season, but with only two viable options at QB now, I don't want to see our skinny QB taking a hard sack and getting hurt from either holding on to the ball too long or running the ball as much. And just remember, Hendon Hooker looked like a Heisman QB until that one play. One untimely hit, and we're down to one QB with no back-up.

Jd will start, Nuss will play in several games next year. He's to good not to play, keeps the defense on their toes, and if nothing else gets prep work for the following year.

That's not a two qb system, that's just using your brain as a coach. If Nuss leaves, we're f#$*ed.
