I’ll preface this by underscoring BK’s statement that JD is Qb1 and our starter, and clarify he gives us the best chance to win short term.

However, everyone here has noted the deficiencies of each (JD/Nuss) but the Purdue game was electric. I think the method in which both QBs we used would create havoc for future defenses if continued through the regular season.

I know BK has used this system before, AND I’m in no way anticipating this is the case going forward, I’d just like to know y’all’s opinion regarding the topic.

*Heres to a repeat & CFP birth*

I'll just leave this here.

"Nightmares," Kelly said in April when asked about a two-QB system. "It’s not easy. It has to be a situation where you have to do it. I’d much rather just play one quarterback and try to fit the offense to their traits over somebody else. The two-quarterback situation is so difficult to manage, honestly."

If JD starts, Nuss will see plenty of valid minutes in most, if not all, games...

Its a 0 percent possibility. The qb that beat Bama…won the west and a Heisman Contender will be your starter.

I don't think it'll be a "system" but I do see nuss getting more playing time in games where the outcome hasn't been decided. if that makes sense.

Never works…

Like Spurrier always said, if you’re playing 2 QB’s you’ve got no QB.

And yet during the bowl game….we saw two QBs

Spurrier was right, but only if neither QB was worth a damn.

So just quit saying this without that perspective...

If you play 2 QB you don’t have one. Never a good idea.

Well, according to the experts here on tRant, apparently JD5 sucks and Nuss is the second coming of the Messiah. Time will tell. I do know with the frickin’ portal it’s harder to get a stacked QB room these days. We need a starter and a good backup, not a 2 QB system.
