Michael Clayton??

He was mentioned earlier but I agree.

How that guy didn't win the Biletnikoff award, I'll never know. Even if he wasn't thrown to, he was great in blocking.

I forgot about chad lavalais for d line. I played against him in high school ball. They ran the wish bone at times with him as a deep back. Imagine that. Didn't help we were pretty terrible also.

I wasn't around then but my dad told me the guy was a huge player.

He and I are both huge Tiger fans, so I believe him.

LSU has turned out some serious playmakers. That's understating it.

Hope I didn't make you feel old. That wasn't my intention. ha ha

Can't really speak for all-time since I have only been following LSU football for the past 15 years or so. But here are the best players I have seen at LSU in that time frame.

QB - J.Russell or M.Flynn (Russell was a beast in college before he got fat and lazy)
RB - Kevin Faulk
FB - Jacob Hester
OL - Andrew Whitworth
WR - tie Josh Reed and Michael Clayton
TE - Robert Royal
DT - Chad Lavalais
DE - Marcus Spears
LB - Bradie James
CB - Patrick Peterson
S - LaRon Landry

Only position I am bleh about is QB. The only QBs I remember watching are Josh Booty, Rohan Davey, Matt Mauck, Marcus Randell, Jemarcus Russell, Matt Flynn, Ryan Perilloux, Andrew Hatch, Jarret Lee, and Jordan Jefferson. I think JR or Flynn would be the best out of that group.

Ronnie Estay was as good or better than Dorsey. No team in the NFL ran the "3-4" defense where he would have excelled as a middle guard.

Corey Webster, James Britt, Clinton Burrell all deserve consideration.

Gay has a Super Bowl ring with the Patriots, but I don't remember him being that strong in College.

I'd put Dalton Hilliard above every rb. Dude rushed for over 4K in his career while his running mate Gary James amassed over 2,300 yards during the same four year span. Hilliard>Faulk..........FACT.
