But miles wasn't a good oc and I'll take 16 games as a head coach over a year or 2 as an OC as far as coaching exp goes. I didn't want him either rick but you're presenting the wrong argument as to why.

Not if your only tenure is the worst ever at program tbat hasnt be elite in half a century.
Miles had ran a successful program before coming to lsu.
Ed orgeron hasnt . Its that simple.
Do you think Auburn, bama,or uf wouldve had O in their top 10 candidates list?

No im not. No big time program should ever hire a coach that has never ran a successful side of the ball nor has he ever ran a successful program.
This hire is the most unqualified hire in big 6 history.
No big 6 sec program has ever elevated a position coach to hc job.

They are counting interim tenure.

Ha ha. You have got to be kidding.
Even if thats true it doesnt erase his successful tenure there. They had sucked for 14 years before he arrived.
The lengths youll go to too shite on miles is commendable.

And ole miss was a top 10 program? Lmfao not by a long shot they weren't even ranked top 10 the year you're talking about they were 19th that year so stop the exaggerating man

Interim tenures dont count as running a successful program.

Success boy you're definition of that changes where ever miles goes. 28-21 is successful? How about 4-7 or 7-5? Whatever dude
Posted on 11/28/16 at 9:45 pm to Rickdaddy4188
It counts as head coaching exp quit changing the argument

Im not exaggerating shite. 2 years before O got there they had a top 10 finish. Thay a far better situation than what miles had to go into.

he was 10-25 at OM, 6-2 at USC and 5-2 at LSU. That's 50 games total. not 65.
Posted on 11/28/16 at 9:45 pm to Rickdaddy4188
No they didn't they finished 19th just stop dude

bullshite. HE didnt hire the staff. He didnt choose the scheme. He didnt run the offense. He didnt run the defense.
All he did was motivate.
Posted on 11/28/16 at 9:47 pm to Rickdaddy4188
Exactly he did things with miles scheme that miles couldn't do in 12 years at lsu it's harder to do what he did

They finished 13th in 2003. Just 2 years before O took the job.
My bad thought is what top 10.

Ha ha. You cant believe that ignorant post. Ed orgeron knows frick all about running an offense. Hell he has never ran a defense.
Steve Ensminger ran the offense.
Its amazing how you dont give credit to miles for good qb play early in his tenure yet are trying to give adline coach the offensive credit for this year.
