If this is the case then couldn't the players also press charges,

From nola.com

"They had bruises and cuts, they were battered," Stone said. "I foresee charges coming. We don't know by who. These guys in turn may have been the aggressors."

Is it more imprtant for you for the truth to come out or this all be swept under the rug?

Im pretty sure I know more than you on what happened that night and if that's the case then the players shouldn't get into trouble with the law. The didn't start the fight. Punches were thrown and they had to defend themselves nothing more.

Its not a huge deal that they skipped curfew, but what irked me was finding out JJ didn't try to make peace in the parking lot, but instead participating in the cowardly act of stepping on a down man. I really wasnt surprised to find out this was true, but I really don't have any respect left for the kid. Its a shame.

Rodney fricking king riots? good god man.

For the record, I wasn't comparing it to the riots in general, just the Reginald Denny beating were the man was infamously kicked in the head several times by a very proud thug. Would you rather me bring up one of the numerous flash mob attacks going on around the country? Or the Wisconsin state fair beatings?

No problem. That link is 24 hours old, so there is likely more information.

But no one from the police has labeled any player a suspect.

OK I have spoken to a players girlfriend. Said player got a phone call last night saying that JJ would be picked up today and booked. He will be the one charged with second degree battery, but that charge probably wont stick. He also said JJ will sit for at least 2 games as of now, but could be out for more. I'm sure the info about him being picked up today could have changed since last night, but supposedly about 10 people have come forward, saying they saw JJ step on the guys head, and he has the road rash on his face as proof.

It's going to be an interesting week

I fought two to three times a week at Northwestern State for about 2 years and didn't get in trouble until about 4 years later when I got in a fight when i was a little bit older. You should try to protect all the kids in school not just LSU football players. Pressing charges doesn't solve anything. Don't start fights or just walk away if you don't like what happens after the first punch. Geaux Tigers!

how in the holy hell does Reginald fricking Denny even remotely compare to what allegedly happened (even if the worst is assumed true?)

bring up whatever you want but the royal wedding has as much to do with this situation as any of the bullshite examples you listed.

You're saying that the "victims" were the first to throw a punch? Now this is interesting.

No, I'm just a guy with no real sources, but I know a players girlfriend. And once this comes to fruition, I will tell you which player. But right now, its better to keep that discreet. Ans as SFP said, things change every day in things like this. Once the LSU reps get involved, strings can be pulled.

I heard JJ is waiting to see what happens between his attorney and BRPD detectives.

Here's a pic

drexyl, you obviously have shite for brains. IF the WORST is true (not saying it is) and somebody was pulled from their car and stomped like a dog, then it sounds very much like the treatment Reginald Denny got in LA. If you can't grasp that, there is no hope for your dumbass.

I would keep that source a secret on this board and elsewhere. For the player's sake.
