No offense but shy should faculty and staff get discounts? Just because you work for the school? If they gave that discount how many employees does LSU have?

Would it kill LSU to give a discount (like $5 tickets) for faculty and staff?

You can buy $5 tickets at the gate like everyone else. My tickets face value are $5 each.

How is that? Can you buy them at the ticket office the week prior to a game? Are they guest student tickets?

The PMAC will be rocking once classes start again and SEC play rolls around. Most of the students aren't around campus right now.

Just like students get in free because they are a part of the school.

Maybe allow discounted tickets for $5 for faculty and staff, with a max of 100 per game. Faculty and staff use to have a shot at football tickets several years ago too.

It would be a way to get a few more people in the stands. The increased people may boost concession sales as well.

If not oh well instead of going to 20 home games a year, I'll make 7-8 games.

Despite having hornets tickets, I chose LSU-Nichols. I missed witnessing history...

did faculty and staff not have access to the internet,tv or billboards when lsu spent 2 months advertising $100 season tickets ($5 per game)? stop complaining.

I bought two 200 level season tickets on ebay for $200... Look around a little and you can get some cheap tickets.

I've been to five games this year and last night's crowd was the biggest so far.

LMAO at the morons that actually expect 10K+ at a game against the sisters of the poor university during winter break

aparently in the late 70s, 80s and early 90s there was no winter break at lsu since 10k+ happened regularly.

If LSU beats Texas A&M in Houston this Saturday and Wazzu St. next Saturday, the attendance will skyrocket. Book it.

If LSU would give the students their old student section back then I think more students would go.

I'm still in favor of demolishing or renovating the PMAC to make it more intimidating. There isn't a paid seat within 20 feet of the court. That's pretty pathetic, IMO.

Take one baseline, bring the bleachers to the 8 foot baseline mark, and have that as the Student Section going all the way up to the 300's. Then offer the free upgrades to those who had seats on the baseline to move them onto the sideline.

thats total bullshite. a lot of times the bottom section of the student section isn't even filled up. the upper sections are hardly ever filled even for big games.

I drove from Gulfport to New Orleans for the Hornets/Spurs game last night. LSU/Nichols didn't have the same appeal. Give me an OOC schedule worth the effort and I'll make the trip to Baton Rouge.

Most students probably weren't here for that configuration.
