No. That was his best decision of the night frankly. Pitching g to Mendoza was the dumbest decision I have ever seen in 35+ years of watching baseball

No excuse there.

My bet is they blame the baserunning.

Maybe so but what a gutsy performance by that kid. LSU was hot but they ran into a hotter team. FSU has been on fire. To sweep us at the box is impressive

Well if Garza catches the fricking ball there is only runners at the corners and maybe we get out of it.

Or better yet, WALK THEIR BEST HITTER

Hats off to Fontenot regardless of the outcome. He showed some serious guts.

Can’t even blame Fontenot. If Garza catches that fastball and doesn’t put the runner on 2nd, he faces one more batter

PM has ALWAYS done that. He would have 2 more NCs if he didn’t keep pitchers in too long.

If Coach M. had handled it any other way you'd be second guessing that decision.

How much pressure you think is on the commentators to set in their little box and say things like "he should have..................."

You could always 2nd guess that decision just because it didnt work out but he looked good and strong. Had a quick inning the one before came out and was dealing. Mendoza is just a good hitter, maybe should have walked him or just threw nothing in the stike zone.
