This is a very reasonable stance. I always tell my clients not to give the opposition anything they don't know already and haven't asked for and to only answer questions that are asked, not to elaborate if it's not necessary. So absolutely, Wade has no idea right now what the FBI has, what the defense has, what questions they may ask him and how deep they'll go. There's no sense in him handing over everything he has right now because some may never see the light of day. On the same hand, I can also see why LSU wants to know everything so they can make sure they can prepare the best defense for the program and the department. It's quite the catch 22 for everyone involved. Typically in situations such as these it's just an NCAA investigation with no power of subpoena. However, unfortunately for us and Wade, we have an underlying criminal proceeding that brings about a whole different aspect to these proceedings. Basically, the NCAA can let the courts handle the vast majority of their investigation. Only difference being they can't personally subpoena documents on their own, they can just hope the court file has everything they need.
