I'm torn between Bama and Texas for obvious reasons on both sides. Convince me why I should pull for either team!

Pull for Bama to light a fire under LSU's arse to run Miles out of town.

Plus it keeps it in the SEC and we get to play them next year.

Pull for an earthquake... it's California and completely possible. Not a bad one, but one that will stop the game and make it have to be rescheduled.

I'm wiling to be a sacrifice for my fellow Tigers if it means the end of Bama forever.

A Texas win will degumpify the SEC Rant, at least for a while.

Pull for Texas, because an Alabama win means the rich get richer, more recruits head that way, more Bama fans talk trash, and Finebaum won't ever shut up.

Only flip side to a Bama win, is that Nick's famous speech about making an A on one test, and then thinking all you need is a C on the next one will come true. Bama won't be as hungry next season, only upside I can see other than the SEC banner argument.

I say Alabama and if they win the BCS Championship should change names to the SEC Invitational.

I hope you go to the Rose bowl and pull the switch - no power, game over. No national title in 2009.

Asking me to feel happy for Nick Saban's success at Bama is my personal equivalent of being forced to look at ex-girlfriends' wedding albums and baby books. It's just too damn painful. And before anyone starts lecturing me that I care too much about football, I'm already aware that I'm an emotional cripple with skewed priorities.
