DONT KNOW IF THIS IS ALLOWED ON THE SITE. IF IT ISNT ADMINS PLEASE FEEL FREE TO TAKE IT DOWN. NOT TRYING TO DO SOMETHING THAT VIOLATES THE RULES.
Hey y’all this is for my son. We are trying to raise money to get a service dog for him. Share this on your social media, text messages or any way to get the word out. We also are gonna have a cooked meal to help raise money as well. If you know anyone that breeds dogs or knows anyone that does please tell them to get in touch with me. If they know someone who is a certified service animal trainer or if you do that would help too.
Thank you,
Searle Family

I'd really appreciate it if you would share or donate to this GoFundMe,

I'm sure you mean well, but this is probably going to end badly, especially since you posted a phone number. Your wife will be getting pics of penises forthwith, I'm sure...

NEADS has a great autism dog program but the chils has to be at least 8. 3 is young for a true autism service dog.

Dumb question coming .... Does some type of medical insurance cover service dogs?

By the way, it’s awesome that you’re doing whatever you can to help your son. No shame in that. Good luck man.

Someone else would need to be the dog's Handler other than the three year old. I don't know of any legitimate service dog provider that is going to hand a service dog over to any child whose 3. They normally want a child that's over the age of 12.

Go to servicedogcentral.org and search a link on an article about very young children and service dogs. It is very informative. From what I've read and understand, a three-year-old cannot handle a true service dog.

Well yea we would have to handle the dog until he can, but there is a lot the service dog can do to help him.

Im sure things are rough for you right now, ask your wife to use Astroglide next time. We all don't need your arsehole bleeding into the Rant.

I am the parent of severely disabled kid. well now he is almost 19. I appreciate your efforts and support you. My son would not benefit from a service animal. Well maybe not. But just a question, is your son on the State Medicaid Waiver program for services and if so they may cover the service dog under the equipment allocation for him. I know you said he is 3 so there still may be a waiting list (Louisiana sucks on this BTW). Again, just a thought. Keep fighting for your kid.

I have a special needs child who received a service dog 5 years ago. The process for a true service dog through an agency can be an arduous one. We had to wait 3 years before we got the call. The agency paid for the dog, but we had to pay for travel and accommodations for my wife and child to spend 2 weeks training with the dog. Insurance and state programs do not cover this type of expense, it was all out of pocket. The tasks you suggest in the link might be able to be preformed by a dog you train without having to wait or incurring the expense. This is the agency we used and their FAQ's might help. Good luck to you and your family.

Sure I do. The child is in no apparent dire situation. Why can't his dad pick up some overtime or get a second job to pay for his kids service dog. Sell his season tickets. No, he will just ask some strangers on TD to pay for it and take the easy way. No different than the travel ball bums asking for donations at the intersection to pay for their kids hobby.
