Mark Emmert did as much for LSU and Saban,improved all the facilities on on and on, if not for Emmert Saban would still be at Mich st trying to beat Mich. He walked out on us ,we didn't walk out on him, so don;t give me none of that shite, He was given all the resources that no other head coach ever had at Lsu

I think it would be more shocking to Saban if he was greeted warmly. I'd like to see him get a welcome reception if only for that.

Tricky Nick did not make this into a great college envoriment to succeed in...it has been that for a VERY VERY long time. The fans, the atmosphere and the overall genuine athletic ability of LA players is what made LSU LSU. He simply had the great foresight and understanding to awaken the sleeping giant.
Granted he succeeded where others failed, but it's not like LSU was Texas Tech and built from the ground up. When Mike Leach leaves Tech, that school will return from wence it came - a rival for Baylor.

Don't be surprised if you hear FU Saban from the student section. If they did it to Spurrier last year I wouldn't be shocked if they do it for Saban.

I think that a negative reception is in order, BUT fans should save their voices to make this stadium the loudest it has ever been while JPW is behind center.

Why would we stand up and cheer for him. Since when do we cheer for the opposing team and their coach when they come out of their tunnel. I didn't hear us cheering for Miss, Ga or Tulane when they came on the field. Cheering for him and not booing when they come out makes no sense what so ever.
