revisionist history.

Flynn was a good QB, but that's it. He could run the offense pretty well and made most of the throws.

Russell scared the hell out of every defense he faced, because of his arm strength. He also lit up teams along the way.

easily JR

p.s. Lets not forget Flynn TRIED his hardest to give Bama the game in 2007.

Also, Jimbo has stated that Flynn is the only QB he's ever head that had a full grasp of his offense.

He would call in 5 plays at a time for JR, and he had full authority at the LOS to switch to any play by the end of his last year

With the team we had that year, we should have won the national championship, which Flynn did the next year. If Flynn had been QB that year instead of JR, we probably would have won it that year as well. JR had a cannon of an arm but couldn't throw accurately past 15 yards.
I hate dumbass people like you. You realize both teams lost 2 games right you epic dipshit?

What if I told you ... Russell was the much more accurate passer between the two?

By this retarded debate JJ was a better QB than Flynn. In 2009 he had 61%.
I'm guessing you fly his flag up high as well.

You realize they lost the same amount of games you epic shite for brains? I guess Flynn gets credit for being a Genie who caused other teams to lose two games as well right?

Still doesn't prove which individual was better. Is everyone at every position on the NC team better than every individual player at that position in the country?

This video doesn't prove anything. Anyone can launch the ball in the air and hope that someone catches it. I guess by this argument Marcus Randall is better than Flynn too because of the Bluegrass Miracle.

Did you not watch anything that happened before the throw? Not just anyone can do that.

By this retarded debate, Tee Martin was better than Peyton Manning, Trent Dilfer was better than Dan Marino, Eli better than Peyton, etc.

Seriously, you're essentially arguing that Flynn > JR b/c West Virginia lost to a 27 point underdog. Flynn must have played really well that game.

Also, that isn't what happened on that throw.

Why dont you just come out and say what this is really about...you know you want to.

If it was only an issue of a title making a guy better, you'd agree that Tee Martin was a better college QB than Manning. I mean...title and all.

We both know that's horseshite...why not let your real issue get some air?

Remind your friend about Flynn's pick 6 against State that year.

Check that Tennessee game!

You mean the Tennessee game that we won because of bullet TD pass to Early Doucet with about a minute to play. I think he also had a couple big third down runs in that game as well.

Was he perfect, no, but he was way better than Flynn.

I'd argue that if Russell had Stayed in 2007, we would not have lost a single game.
