In one inning of play JP has thrown out a runner from deep right and hit a two run HR. Decent start I’d say

Because some players take longer to get consistency. The talent is there, but only flashed in streaks.

Well the thing is, it would have been so easy to bury him on the bench and plug in Larson or Brown, who are equally as talented. But Jay saw things in JP he couldn’t unsee. Credit to JJ
