Ok. Let’s compare
Wisconsin vs Florida
Cincinnati vs Auburn
Indiana vs Texas

Gotcha. Trolls and idiots are us.

No. and they have blown the doors off of their competition and looked like the most complete team.

You realize rankings are based on the TEAM and not just starters and what could have happened right?

Our starting DE has missed half the season. Our primary 2 backups at DE have each missed 3+ games. One of our primary DT backups is out for the season

Well Alabama is ranked 3rd, even after having played Tenn without Tua and struggling offensively.

Disagree. Load the box against Fields, and make him beat with his arm.

Watch how Penn State plays him.

What do you think Wisconsin tried to do?

They said they (OSU) played more consistent on both offense and defense.
i can’t understand how OSU is rewarded and Clemson is put at 5. They both have no resume

The difference is that OSU has absolutely dominated everyone and Clemson almost lost to NC.

If Clemson played their road games at northwestern, Indiana, and Nebraska, instead of at A & M and UNC they would pass the eyeball test too

We played three games against top competition and all three were decided in the last 5 minutes. Ohio st. has been dominant against their top competition and everyone else on their schedule. Ohio st. deserves the top spot.

I will not downvote you at all, but I have no problem with this initial ranking at this time. Has Ohio State played as tough a schedule as LSU? No. But they have shown they are also an awesome football team.

The bigger shock to me was Penn State at number 4 over Clemson.

It will all work itself out in the end. The winner of LSU/Bama will probably be number one, plus doesn’t Ohio State play Penn State on November 23rd?

When you have a bye week every week, you look consistently dominant playing against nobody. Lord forbid Ohio St would have to play 3 top 10 teams and actually face adversity.

They have on paper. No one has been more consistent than OSU. Number 2 is just fine for right now. It does not matter until the final rankings after the conf. championship games. The target on the back for being number one is now for the OSU to enjoy all by themselves:).

Bc rankings are meaningless at this point whether we're talking about being ranked 1 this week or next.

Focus should be on winning the game, not rankings at this point.

What part of my game do you want to me to focus on?

Indiana might actually be better than Texas.

Inconsequential at this point. Much ado about nothing.
