Players that play will increase their draft odds exponentially.

Not only will more eyes be on each game than maybe any time in history. We may get historic, crazy matches we’d never even have a chance at except during bowl season.

With so many schools opting out, that’s all the more players that won’t be in the draft, and if they do the footage is over a year old.

Much eyes+less competitors=huge increase in the Chance they’ll be drafted. Players that would otherwise be undrafted might be picked third, second, even first round. Look at all the players from LSU last year that went from middle of the pack to first rounders.

Players should be clamoring for a chance at this.

Terrace Marshall has a lot of potential to be a high draft pick. He just needs one healthy year as a tiger and he will earn a lot more money

Not if they catch COVID-19 and have heart problems. No nfl team will spend a high draft pick on someone with heart and lung problems!

Or what if they tear an acl which is way more likely than having continuing issues from covid? Or what if they’re in a car wreck and sustain significant injuries? Or suffer multiple concussions?

And these are things checked and double checked normally before the draft.

aside from one OL at Indiana, where else have you seen this with healthy 18-22 year olds? What's the rate of heart problems with covid compared to the flu? Because the same myocarditis that happened to him happens with a percentage of flu patients.

That's what he did - try reading more than the title of the post and you will find your answer.

the combine is going to be that much more important this year and NFL teams are going to have to take bigger chances in the 2020 draft as they are going to have to make projections on a lot of players that they really havent gotton a good look at in live game situations.

What if they catch Covid like most of us will with no heart problems? Heck, they might not know they have Covid (remember 85% are asymptomatic), 10% mild flu, the rest meh some problems.

What if they catch the flu with or without heart problems? Because the flu is also associated with Myocarditis for an enlarged heart. Why you never posted that the last 10-20 years???

If the flu can cause it then what is the big deal? We just let this virus win and we lock up for 5 years in the house and die of hunger, don't work, and rot away.

NFL will get next man up. Or, what if the NFL player gets it? Did they get it from the Football field, the bar, the wife, the whore, the kids coming back from school, the dog, the anyone of 100 places?

We need to live life and play ball

We will be 3rd world if the economy dies and this generation sees a great depression. FOr a virus that kills 0.5%??

The ones that don’t play will be wishing they did. Book it. And the recruits will notice

Goes both ways. Tua and delpit would have most likely been drafted higher if they had sat out last season.

Guys like T Lawrence, chase, etienne don’t need any more tape to prove anything.
