no doubt .. he would be thinking "don't go to LSU .. you can't get away with doing stupid things off the field !"
I'm not surprised an Aggie is so clueless.
Actually I take that back, calling you an Aggie is an insult to Aggies. Clueless still applies.
Look, just go ask the guys that follow recruiting. High school recruits notice when shite like this happens at football games (booing); it impacts their decision on where to play ball; and on numerous occations recruits have inditcated that booing had a negative impact on their impression of a school during ballgames.
By all means, go to College Station and boo. Just keep your ignorance away from LSU.
Oh, and by the way, your Aggies suck.

nah .. that cellphone video of a tall black man kicking a guy on the ground while others in the background are yelling "jordan, jordan, jordan" does though ..
Spin it hater.
quote:You condoned it, meaning you wouldn't have a problem with participating in a big ol' boo fest, imo.
where did i say i personally booed him exactly ??
quote:I never said JJ would take a shot at a fan, just that cowards boo from the safety of numbers in the stand and don't have the balls to confront their displeasure.
and if jordan can restrain himself from punching a drunk douchebag at a bar as you think he did .. why would he take a shot at an LSU fan telling him how disappointed they were in his choice ?
If somebody slaps frick out of your girlfriend, are you gonna find a crowd that agrees with your dissapointment, then all join in a big ol' boo for the perp?
It's chickenshit and I could care less about your cowardly booing excuses.

There would be no boos in this scenario, because we would've needed JJ. See, it has nothing to do with the actual mistake he made. People are booing because they love JL now and hate JJ. Pretty simple.
Since it's so simple, why do "they" love JL now? Any illogical reasons perhaps?

whatever the reason it is i just think its completely wrong we have a team thats ranked #1 right now and we still boo
This!
Unbelieveable we are 5-0 and #1 and 20 pages on this crap!
Fans need to support every player moving forward and let the loud minority stick out when they choose to boo.

If there was ever a time when piss balloons should be used....

I would love nothing more than to see a piss balloon dropped on the head of a dumbass that was booing my Tigers.

This won't be the answer you are fishing for.
Fans like Lee cause he has persevered. He didn't quit. He didn't complain. From everything we see, he's a model teammate. It is all "team" with Lee. He takes criticism. He looks like a kid out there who many parents would like to say "That's my son".
They also happen to like him cause he has played well.
You may disagree with that, but IMO, that is why he so well liked.

I agree 100%. Although the boos were an obvious overkill, the reasons you just stated are legit reasons to not want our second string QB subbing for our starter. Especially on meaningful snaps in close games.

quote:There's a wide universe of reactions between standing ovation and booing a player for your team. If the players thinking we all suck helps them bond as a unit, I'm totally fine with that. The fans are basically shite to me at this point, because they are not acting in the best interest of the team. So I don't really give a damn if any of us are offended by the players' reactions. We didn't beat the living shite out of the complete and utter jackasses that booed, so we let it happen and deserve whatever the players want to say about us. All I care about is that the program (which is the team, coaches, administration and whatever fans have the ability to give a damn about this team) is able to maintain focus and intensity and keep on winning.
My thing exactly I feel really bad for JJ but calling out the fans isn't going to help his cause even if they are wrong. He did have a terrible season last year and then had an offseason off the field indict no one should have been expecting a standing ovation or anything.
And yes, if you are someone who booed when Jefferson came in, I am calling you a complete and total jackass who truly deserves to be beaten physically until bloodied and bruised. Nothing badly broken, certainly not permanently crippled or killed, but beaten until it sinks in that things outside your own selfish feelings do exist and that what you put out into the world can and does come back to you; i.e., there are indeed consequences to being a dickhead and they can be severely negative (so you should stop being one).

I agree...rare in sports but totally justified this time!

I don't condone the booing. However, JJ was cheered wildly when he broke off those runs. His reception was overall very positive.

Mett grabbed a chick's arse in a bar. Quit being an a-hole and acting like he raped her in front of her family.

JJ was the best viable option to score.

and JJ simply was the victor in bar fight....see how this works.
One has plead guilty to two counts of sexual assault and one is charged with simple battery. Question for you sport, who would you feel better about taking your daughter on a date. A kid who plead guilty to sexual assault or simple battery?????

Dumb people are so dumb. Last year, there were plenty of times where Lee led the offense to the red zone and Jefferson entered the game down around the goal line. Why would this year be different?
