I think the SEC accepted this possibility as the lesser of two evils. If they allowed the players to play when they said no originally, they’d look as weak as the NCAA. A few million in NIL damages is nothing compared to the power and perception the SEC is trying to keep.

The soccer player in question appeared in 3 games, but hasnt played in any games since September 6 according to stats and game logs on the LSU athletic department website.
September 8 is when the SEC scheduled the meeting to vote on expelling LSU. LSU backed down on the soccer player too once the SEC threats got serious.

Dude, stfu. No one values your opinion, and they value SFPs even less. Im not a Lawyer...i do know business law, but not claiming to be an expert. Common sense rules here. You dont get that apparently.

Because he has made the SEC look very bad, and will likely cost the SEC, and possibly LSU and Sankey, $$.

You have formulated the best response to this issue I have seen or heard.

This isn’t difficult to grasp for anyone that doesn’t just want to argue or be contrarian.

Then don't.
In other news, the actual motion filed by Pyburn and the other plaintiffs is STILL not available on the EBR Clerk's website. I may walk down there at lunch to take a look at the actual filing.
It is a little odd that the image is not live three days after filing. That is slow even for EBR.
