ETLING,

I just cant understand how this fricker is on the field.

He is Zach Shittenberger 2.0-

He will get drafted very low and will be out of Pro football just like Shittenberger in 3 years after ridding the roster pine and playing back up to the back up to the back up clip board manager.

DJ was not VERY good this year. You guys throw around that word so loosely. He is always running with his back to qb and as fast as he is he doesn't have good cover skills. Would I want the saints to pick him? Maybe a late round pick. Certainly not top 2 rounds. Again, he was ok, but nothing special.

Please provide any statistical proof or other proof that Jackson struggled in coverage this year.

Everything you are saying are criticisms from last year. DJ cleaned up his cover skills this year. It's pretty obvious that once you form an opinion about a player, nothing will change that opinion.

Agreed.

Honestly I have been saying Greedy was a stud. I didn’t realize he would be this good this early.

Darrel Williams impressed the hell out of me this year. Kid will definitely be in an NFL rotation next year.

Dude, I'm not going to argue with you. You are the only one beating DJ's drum out of all the replies. He played pretty good in nickle, but is still not a very good corner. Hoping he grows into one and tears it up at the next level.

Im beating Jackson's drum. He's incredibly good and was last year as well. Some teams even with Tre White on the other side last yr didnt dare challenge Jackson. If he was a weakness, they wouldve designed plays to exploit that. They didnt. This includes Saban with 2 weeks to prepare with Ridley, A&M, with a 5 yr Sr QB and a plethora of WR's and Petrino with Louisville and a month to prepare.

I was surprised by his performance. I really expected him to turn it over more, and I did not expect him to run the ball as well as he did. I also somewhat expected him to lose the starting job to Brennan, until Brennan came in and didn't look comfortable at all, and Danny for the most part looked to be in complete control most of the season.

You do know that just repeating that you don't think DJ is good doesn't further your argument right?

How about you tell us about specific plays he messed up or maybe link a video or two?

Basically it seems like you just decided DJ was bad and have nothing to back it up so you'll just keep repeating yourself hoping that it sticks this time.

I've said nothing of the sort. I simply said I thought he was ok. Not VERY good. I don't think he is a shutdown corner, yet. I also state I hope he kills it in the next level. You do know I'm not nearly alone in that belief right? You are taking this VERY personal. Must be a reason. I don't think he has great cover skills, and certainly can't catch. But hey man, you do you. Hope you right.

Dude all I'm asking is for any shred of evidence to support your claim that he's not very good.

Reference a play from any game in 2017. Reference a matchup against a particular WR that worked him over. Anything.

Wtf. There were numerous plays throughout the year where he was trailing the wr. I'm not going to play this game with you. As I've said, there are many people that think along my line of thinking. Strangely, you were the only one that referenced donte as a surprise great contributor. Do you notice I keep capitalizing VERY? You think he is a VERY good player. I think he is just pretty good. Now, are you donte? Family member? Friend? There is something that has you tied to him. Otherwise, you wouldn't continue to prop him up to me when the fact is I never said he was bad.

I know you said this year and my pick was Greedy and Darrell Williams.

In the past it was Tyrann Mathieu, Jacob Hester, Steven Ridley and Craig Steltz.

Mathieu- opened eyes and made people take notice and convinced everyone he was an absolutely great football player. Not just his position. Guy was a baller that had the "it" factor.

Hester- I had no expectations for a white rb. LSU had some good tailback and this white fullback starts playing tailback. He was an overachiever that became legit.

Steltz- I don't remember why I was so surprised. I guess cause he was a white safety that ended up as one of the best in the country.

Ridley- I thought he was not gonna be able to adjust to big time college ball since he played in MS private school. Super wrong on that one.

I have to say it's grant delpit and greedy williams. Both of them are going to be absolute studs for us this year and will only get better.
