Juniors and redshirt sophomores getting drafted is a good thing
I may bash miles, but sustaining an NFL pipeline and bringing in top talent is isn't something he can be hated on for.
Kids go to college to make more money, after college. Can't fault them for ever leaving. Brockers is a success story

We got two years out of him. While places like UA and UGA are able to keep players around for three and even four years. Look at CJ Mosley at UA.
Him leaving early does not support your argument......

I'm not hating on him for it.
But it seems like we are about to take a major it on the defensive side of the ball and I don't think you'll disagree with me that Simon & Reid did not have the year that we all expected.

Dude, Mosley had a major injury and was still not back to 100%, so sticking around is good for him to prove to the scouts that he's back. Brockers was a dominant force with no questions to be answered. He was coached up like a beast and I'd take nothing but 3 year guys like that every year, even if they only start for a year!

Bennie Logan came in a 3 star DE and may leave a 1st round DT.
Mo Claiborne was a three star to top ten draft pick
BRockers was a low 4 star DE 1st round DT
PJ and Turner on OL. I think Travis DIckson is coming along.
And blue has gotten better and better

so do we. Lafell, Dorsey, Tyson Jackson, and Kelvin Sheppard all could've left early but stayed.

an exception at Bama really. most of their good juniors leave early.
Brockers leaving as a RS Soph was a bit of a unique situation, Wing notwithstanding.

Running bacjs and oline. Believe it or not all the qbs have improved. Cant really tell about mett, i think his numbers improved late in the season due to the oline improving and wrs not dropping the ball.
Dwayne bowe, lafell, doucet, davis all improved from year to year. Really this year is the only year the wrs regressed.
You guys are stretching this not developing players bullshite.
You cant sit here and say guys like collins, willifird, jish d and lonergan havent improved from their freshman year. Cus they have.

Landry is the only sure bet imo.
Beckum regressed, but that's a product of going for the #2 to #1 guy.
Wish we could have seen more out of Wright. But, injuries had something to do with that.

This really isn't a bashing thread.
Some players get better because they work harder than others at getting better. Some players get better because they have great coaching and respond well to it. Some players get better because they simply get bigger, faster, and stronger in these years.
My initial impression was that LSU has done a better job of developing defensive players. That's all.

Lately:
LaFell (number 2 receiver behind Pro Bowler Steve Smith)
Randle looked good last few weeks (two scores in last weeks win over Philly)
Ridley (1,200 yard rusher for the Patriots)
All will be fantasy team worthy next season. I had Lafell on my bench and Ridley was my #1 back throughout the year and was consistent.
Player development isn't the problem; its game calls that have hurt us against Bama in the BSCNCG, Bama this year, Clemux, Ole Piss with clock etc.
You look back; theres one or two things that would've given us victory if we would changed the calls, format, clock management etc...

Well randle prib would have gone first if he stayed and faulk would have been a furst round pick thus year if he didnt tear his mcl and acl.
As far as five stars go, randle, and collins starting as a true sophomore. Spencer ware aint to shabby and has had a nice career if you count the fact he has split carries with hilliard, hill, ridkey, ford, jefferson, shepard, copeland.
