the pittsburgh pirates have two jared jones… lsu's former tiger jared jones, the power hitter… and another jared jones, a pitcher… who is going to start tonight's game, thursday night, against the astros… while watching the astros game wednesday night, the network popped up a blurb for the thursday night game, that said that jared jones is starting thursday night game… and on the blurb it said that recent call-up jared jones is starting thursday nights game… and my brain immediately screamed ' wtf!?! '… so i did some digging between innings, and found out they have multiple jared jones… did anybody know this already?… i know i miss things pretty regularly, to damn busy for my own good… astros won btw, scored 8 runs in last couple innings, including 6 in bottom eight, to pull it out 11-9… skenes not at his best, still had 7 k/1 bb… he left with a lead… arrighetti did well too… astros getting people back from injuries, starting to win pretty regularly… hader shut pitt down completely in 9th…

Yeah The Jared Jones pitcher is legit if he can stay healthy. Can't wait for them to call up JJ(ex-tiger).

I did know about the pitcher Jared Jones essentially because of Skenes. I have no interest in the Pirates outside of Skenes and now JJ. While watching Skenes pitch last year, they were talking about the pitcher Jared Jones and how they could be a really good 1-2 punch. I think there is another good pitcher they had, iirc, that they also spoke highly of, but I can't remember his name off the top of my head. Maybe it was just the 2.

Yessir it was.

Bear had some huge moments for us. That and the Arky walk off immediately come to mind. I know the Arky game was more important because it was in Omaha, but the Tennessee walk off HR might be my favorite of the 2. He launched that ball. Cleared the batters eye in center field if I remember correctly.
