This isn’t a criticism, but seriously want to get yall’s opinion. So far we’ve used 4 pitchers in game 1. I know they aren’t necessarily “burned” but I’m sure they don’t love the idea of warming up, coming into a game, then doing it all over again 3 hours later.

I’m assuming Evans and Ware will be your game 2 guys if you have the lead. Hopefully Rizy can finish this one off

16. I don’t anticipate him pitching again today but he’ll be back tomorrow.

why? They’ve probably done it their whole life playing tournament and HS ball. It would be nothing new for them.

Is pitching in two games in one day common now a days? I would imagine the majority of our guys were starters in high school and not pitching multiple games in the same day. Again, I’m not saying it can’t be done, but it’s certainly not ideal. If Rizy can finish it out I don’t see it being a problem though.

It’s obviously less than ideal but I don’t really know what the alternative is. You go into the bottom of the 7th tied 1-1, I think you have to bring in Cowan or Evans. And honestly, I think you feel pretty good at that point.

The problem is that Cowan got barreled up.

Yeah I probably posted that prematurely thinking that they might keep rotating guys. I think at this point the only no-go’s for game 2 are probably Cowan and Rizy. We’re in a good spot.

We're still set up good to take two, and the series. Just need to get some offense. 1 run won't beat anybody.
