Yeah I’m waiting for the Purple Ang Gold glasses spin the Rant will put on it. It’s early, they’re young, the Umps suck, one weekend series loss doesn’t matter, blah blah blah

None of those apply except for the fact that it is early. They are 4-2 in the SEC with a winnable SEC series ahead. Lets see how that goes?

Do teams not improve as the season goes on?

Looking like it was all hype. Oh well, maybe they will improve as the season goes on.

They lost 2 of 3 against probably a top 5 team on the road early in the season and some people are losing all hope. And the second game was actually winnable. They are allowed to learn from this.

They are also allowed to improve as you said.

Sunday pitching

We should have scored plenty of runs on their starter Schloss grabbed off the bench and threw out there. That lefty that relieved is a Dawg. Don’t look forward to two more years of him in the lineup, he mowed us down with barely a whimper two days in a row.

He was throwing multiple pitches for strikes unlike the starter we put out there. That was the difference in the game

It’s early,

I mean, we both have a calendar on our phone, so it is indeed early. And other than maybe the QB in football, its the one sport and the one position where a player can literally look like two different players in a months time.

I agree the lack of anyone stepping up in the two losses is concerning, but but other than Skenes, the pitching staff (especially the pen) looked like shite deep into May in 2023.

Some of you people don't know shite! This series didn't mean ANYTHING as far as a title goes!

It's a new team with lots of moving parts ...Jay is seeing who he can and can't count on...we will be fine!

These bastards are full blown crazy. I read through this thread and found myself laughing from deep inside the belly at these short-sighted comments. Sometimes I wonder if they’re just screwing with us, but no, these frickers are serious.

Yall are assholes
LSU lost 6 -2 on Sunday and 2 runs were gained by very poor outfield play let's say that we correct that.
4 runs on Sunday in the SEC is generally no enough to win.
Shore didnt look great but he wasn't terrible either.

Blame our bats for not showing.
Blame CJJ for not putting CasanEvans in on Saturday night and giving him a shot at a long outing .

You all forget you are playing a top 10 opponent on the road in the SEC that is hard at this terrible pace you still get 2o wins in conference that is enough to host a regional and maybe even a super regional
