I can see the logic. A Sunday win is as good as a Friday win. He's probably not good enough to beat the opposing Friday starter but better than the opposing Sunday starters.

take this FWIW...

Cody Glenn will start for #LSU against Alabama at 1 p.m. Sunday.

Chris Cotton, Nate Fury and probably Kurt McCune won't be available for #LSU on Sunday.

Joey Bourgeois will close Sunday if the opportunity presents itself. Brent Bonvillain is well rested and Nick Rumbelow might be available.

Mark Laird's ERA was 0.74 last year at OCS. He's available too. Don't think he's not an option. I watched Ryan Theriot come in from SS and pitch against Ole Miss.

How many years will it be until LSU gets a pitcher whose father pitched for Bertman?

Neither hunters are on the travel roster.

The majority of these opposing pitcher's ERA look great... pre-LSU. Here's to fixing that.

According to Rosetta, Glenn will indeed get the start Bonvillain I would guess is next up out of the pen. Rumbelow, Bourgeois and possibly McCune could have action (all my guesses).

I will be surprised if we see McCune. With him just coming back from injury, need to worry about over extending him. We will see Glenn/Bonvillain/LeMarche/Joey B and maybe Rumbelow.

Hopefully Glenn and Bonvillain can get us to Bourgeois.

I forget about LaMarche. Prefer to throw him either way in front or way behind until he gets some horn-rims.
Agree with McCune. Longshot he pitches, but never impossible. Need five solid from Glenn. Joey B can handle closer for a day.

that's kind of a personal question.

So Glenn is going to all of a sudden actually start playing well in SEC games today?
Posted on 4/21/13 at 10:56 am to High C
Bama had to go through some pitching yesterday as well so I think today's game can really rely on the starters as much as anything.
