New guy is a stud and a half. This team is stacked, and by next month we'll be looking like the contender we all expect.

Just be ready with beer, tits, and gifs so we can rally the boys if need be.

Geaux Tigers!

I agree the team has a lot of talent. the pitchers need a lot of "seasoning" and that means pitching out of tough situations. we should have plenty of those.

when this team jells it would be a good one. whether or not it means hosting a regional or national seed it's too early to tell. no matter what, we should be a talented and experienced team next season.

CPM teams have shown the ability to get crazy hot for stretches so anything is possible but I am recalibrating my hopes to making the SEC tourney and a nearby regional. Duplantis and the Jordans will all have to hit .340-.350 with a lot of 9-7 wins for this team to be in the mix. Will be fun to watch who emerges tho...

Last years run was on the backs of Lange and Poche. While starting pitching will get better it won't be at the level it has been the past two years.

Couldn’t have done it without Lange and Poche last year but Walker made up for Lange struggling the first half of the season. If not for his injury we might’ve beat FL in the finals and the weekend rotation would look a lot different this year. Any of these young pitchers can do the same as Walker. I like what I’ve seen from Hilliard so far.

I think a reasonable expectation this year is a low 2 seed in the regionals. Hosting a regional this year would be an over-achievement.

2019 is Omaha or bust.

Getting walker back will be big but it’s always a crapshoot on how these guys recover from that surgery. It’s common these days but sometimes pitchers never get back to there old selfs. I’m hoping walker does, loved his control and he works the stike zone with a ton of finesse.

2019 seems to be setting up well but I’m not going to count them out of anything yet. CPM proved a couple years ago his team can overachieve when he had to replace 8 out of 9 starters. If Labas and Storz both return and are as good as advertised watch out. We could make yet another late season run. Right now I’ll be thrilled to host a regional though. Tough to replace your entire weekend rotation.

with 19 pitchers listed on the roster, hopefully there should be some depth!
