I think that a lot of our pitchers, especially the PRO PROSPECTS, are soft and if any little thing happens in their arm, they go to CPM and CAD and shut it down. They all expect to be drafted higher than they were before they came to LSU. I could also see CPM being a person that does not want to be a guy who is known for hurting pitchers arms. Hitting however???

How do you know that Mainieri and Dunn aren't shutting them down to protect their pro future? Why do you think it's the athletes being selfish?

Overall, your thread is bad and you should feel bad.

For pitchers, any arm pain is grounds to shut them down for a game at least, especially if it's at the elbow, you can never be too careful with them. Position players though, if the pain doesn't flare up when you throw a ball or swing a bat, I think you should play

I am not worried about the pitchers;it is the hitters that are soft. I understand that hitting is not our forte, but never did I think it would be this bad. We can't hit anything. These recruits can't be this bad. Bring back Cannizaro NOW before this year completely goes down the toilet.

Exactly

They need to man up & stay on the mound til their arms are completely blown

Is he the only name you retards know?

Get it through your thick fricking skull that the guy isn't coming back. And that's a good thing.

Explain all the arm injuries right now.
Pitchers are soft? or overworked and worn out?
Dunn = Pitching Arm Destroyer!

Hill, Marceaux, and Costello are freshmen.

How exactly did Dunn destroy their arms from a single fall camp?

Great. I got your attention. I think naming this thread as pitchers are soft is simply stupid. I was simply making the complete opposite statement to this thread. Shoe on the other foot......but the main question is still, "Explain all the arm injuries right now?"

Riggs Threadgill is on the list of pitchers dealing with soreness right now (8 total pitchers out).

He's throwing right now with trainer Cory Couture and pitching coach Alan Dunn watching. #LSU

No shite? I guess a good indicator would be when he left his last appearance with an injury.

Year round ball is the biggest issue here.

Also, the margin of error at this high a level of ball is pretty small so leaving a ball 2-3 inches up in the zone or away from the edges is the difference between a HR and a groundout. Playing through injuries may cut it in Pony league, but college hitters are too good.

I’d imagine you would bitch about giving up homeruns....
