Godwin was running on the sidelines after his ACL tear
Posted on 1/8/22 at 7:20 pm to AkronTiger
They were performing a torn ACL test before it went to commercial, but it took a long time to get him off the floor after that. Hopefully that means the rest was negative and they started looking at some other possible causes.
The slow mo reply, while very painful looking, didn’t seem super consistent with what we usually see out of torn ACLs. Hopefully just a hyperextension.
Either way, Gaines will need to step up

We've already heard
"looks like ACL to me"
"MCL"
"PCL"
Jesus, looks like he slipped and hurt his knee to me

Guys who are coming back in a couple of weeks don't get comforted by the coach while they cry when they return to the bench to be with their team.

Sure it could be torn acl but we couldn’t feel the laxity on the exam. Anytime you hurt your knee that is the first exam. We will find out tomorrow. I’m sure lsu knows right now if it is a torn acl or not.

So we're determining a guy's season is over because of this?
He's upset that he got injured & is out of the game.
His coach is being a good human & comforting someone who is upset

If he had torn ACL he would be in the locker room and not on bench
Posted on 1/8/22 at 7:29 pm to AkronTiger
Yeah they were testing his knee for a torn ACL/MCL etc. etc. but unless you're the one doing the exam, you can't tell if anything was positive. I'm sure he'll get an MRI and we'll hear about it some time soon.
