Pinch running is stupid

Unless you’ve got a hobbled heavy set catcher who reaches in a late inning situation, why the hell do you burn a bench player as a pinch runner for someone who is not slow?

A. Kling was coming into the game in bottom half to lay defense anyway
B. Someone with Kling's speed can score from 1st on a ball in the gap.

Kling was going to centerfield anyway. Why not run him? Frey can run well, but Kling is still faster.
