I think it's pretty funny y'all act like this Florida game will be a walk in the park. And since it seems you've already chalked this up as a win, along with south carolina...Do you really think you stand a chance against bama? Honest question.

This game will be a very fashionable upset alert because the gators are a home underdog to a team considered by many to be underperforming.

This game is a dream come true for the LSU defense. They will be all over the gator quarterback. ...and they will be able to punish him.

I do expect muschamp and company to have a few trick plays and attempt some 4th down and 'jorts'.

It will be exactly what Dr. Miles ordered... a ten point or more romp in the swamp.

LSU plays halfass:
Beat Florida
Beat SC
Beat A&M
Lose to Bama

LSU plays to their potential:
Stomp Florida
Stomp SC
Stomp A&M
Beat Bama

Alabama beat who again? Arkansas? Michigan?

LSU wins in Baton Rouge, and you have Bama fans crying for another rematch in Jan. Book it.

How about the fact that lsu has scored 12 and 0 points in their last two games away from baton rouge?

I can assure you of one thing, this Florida team ain't Towson. If you truly believe this is going to be a walk in the park, I think you may be in for a rude awakening. LSU is good, damn good..but it's not like they're the 49ers for Christs sake.

Bama is a whole other topic on it's own. I think we all remember what happened in the last match up.

This is what i said earlier.

So its ok since we played like shite? Did you thin that maybe UF played like shite against BG, who is way better than Towson? They have more impressive wins than we do(Beat A&M and UT on the road). There QB is playing at a higher level than ours. There D is pretty damn good. Dont understand why people think there run D sucks. Omar Hunter is a stud at DT. Jenkins is back this week and he is a stud. So is Bostic. They have a damn good RB in Gillesee(SP). I dont get why people act like what UF has done this year hasnt been impressive, when it has, but act like we have done so much this season, when we havent. Im not a negatiger or anything, but UF very well could be 1 of the hottest teams in the country and playing with a high confidence level. Not to mention we go to the Swamp and we all saw what Mett did in his 1st SEC game at Auburn. UF is WAY better than Auburn, and it will be way more hostile at the Swamp. I predict us to win, but it will be a close game and I can see it coming down to turnovers and special teams. 24-17 LSU. Something close like that.

I respect UF A LOT this year. Ive watched yall vs BG, A&M, and UT and have been impressed. It will be a good game i can guarantee that. Whoever wins wont win by much. Good luck to you

Florida is gonna try to hit the edge. If our DE's don't stop that we are in for a long day.
Also they have Boise State OC he is going to throw everything at us Tailback pases, reverses, wildcat you name it. I expect Chavis to have his plate full.

We're goign to run a 1 demensional offense. They'll blitz like crazy. Our D will fight hard but florida will get several big plays to win.

I think you are definitely looking at the game from an un-biased perspective. I think the game is going to be a classic UF LSU battle and hopefully it goes right down to the wire. I believe y'all have the advantage defensively and we have the offensive advantage (if we can keep the run game in check). IMO this is the first true test for both teams but I do think fla has the advantage having traveled to two tough environments already, even if the competition wasn't up to the LSU level.

If Florida turns the ball over and if they don't create some big time defensive plays, it's gonna be a long day for them. I believe if UF can hold y'all to under 175 yds rushing and not give up big throws down the field they have a very good shot at winning this game.

Agreed. This game will come down to penalties, turnovers, and special teams IMO. Field position will be huge for both teams. Its def our 1st true test of the season.

Turnovers and penalties will decide the game. If LSU has their house in order, they should win.

Not if they keep playing like they have the last two games. I doubt Bama regresses.

Last two games away? Great statistic. The 0 was last year's NC.

LSU played without chest for the past few games. If they play like that again it will be close and we possibly lose. If they play lights out like they should it won't be close. Thats all I'm saying.

Gonna be a tough game, period.

We better be ready to pass cause they're gonna do everything to stop the run. Even if we make them pay once or twice I see them loading up the box non stop.

Well, I don't think any of us know how much better the team will execute this week.
