People are currently shitting on Neal and Kling who had similar draft stature out of high school but haven’t been on campus as long as Stovall has been at Arkansas. They’d have hated him here.
But he’s there because his dad played for DVH at Northwestern State.

2) He is a mediocre infielder that had he come to LSU as a freshman, he would've transferred out by now due to lack of playing time.
It's the same answer when people inevitably ask why Will Furniss didn't come to LSU.

Dad played for Van Horne at NSU. Maneiri was looking shaky his last few years of his high school and inevitably retired. We missed a good player out of Lake Charles area that same cycle too to Miss State.
