I had the other sarcastic crap pegged, but actually, from what I've seen of Les Miles, I found both of those stories believable. If he dares to try and get a sandwich at the food court in the mall, I'm sure he's at Chili's from time to time!

shame on me, though.

If you watch Miles coach his players after a bad play, he doesn't yell at them, but talks to them in a normal tone of voice.

After Lee had thrown the interception, I watched Miles and Lee talking about the interception, and when Miles turned to walk away, Lee fondly slaped his coach on the head--pretty amazing!

Let me get this straight. Are you saying Miles is more warm and friendly than Saban was? Surely there are similar warm and friendly stories about Saban.

One time Saban kicked an injured cat out of the street. Didn't want to get the tires on his new Mercedes all bloody and gooey.

Last year at sec media days my wife took my 1 year old boy to try to see miles. As he was walking out he stopped in front of my wife, who was holding my boy, he signed his hat and asked my wife if she wanted a picture since she had her camera. He took my little boy from her and held him while my wife got her camera ready. Then he took the time for a couple of pictures and to sign everything she had with her. She still raves about how great of a person he is anytime someone mentions him.

I see Coach all the time just walking around campus during the day talking with players..he eats in the union with the students, and I've even heard of him going to a speech class to hear speeches from some of his players. Coach Miles is the man

For every morning that Saban wakes up, a kitten dies.
