Hopefully this is the last year of this. With espn losing baseball next year, no need to keep Perez on the payroll. Hopefully we will see an all college baseball crew

ESPN has a stable of great announcers that spend all season covering college baseball, yet every year come Omaha they feel the need to shoehorn Perez and Karl Ravech into the broadcast.
Goddamn ESPN sucks, just let Burke, Ben, and Kyle handle every game no need to complicate it.

I also like how Ben doesn’t make it into an argument. Perez almost seems like he wants to get under Ben’s skin but he doesn’t take the bait. Very professional

They were in a semi heated debate on whether or not the coach should’ve given a take sign during a 3-1 count. Ben was saying the batter instead should sit on breaking ball but Perez kept saying the coach should’ve given take sign to hopefully walk and bring tying runner to the plate.

I mean their supposed best hitter ended up striking out. They scored a run to make it a 2 run game there during that argument. The problem was Murray state couldn’t touch the closer throwing 97-98

Perez,just can not accept other opinions. Would be ok to hear both sides one pitcher and one hitter but Perez is just unbearable. Dude has one of the most annoying voices as well.
