Troy also isn't FCS, so that doesn't apply to the conversation here

But these games are happening, and if they’re going to happen then there’s no reason NOT to play Southern. By default it will generate more interest than any other fcs team we could play.

We shouldn’t play FCS teams.

But yes, if we are then yes play Southern too.

I disagree. For one, LSU has to play its SEC schedule so there is not much that can be done from an Athletic Administration point of view for making people stay at those games. More important though is that fans are much more willing to sit in shite traffic for a good game than for an FCS doormat game.

It will help SU financially....why not help a fellow City School.

It'll be ugly though

Biggest question for this game:
What will the trophy be?

Perhaps, a big table of spicy chicken sammiches. That would not get left on the sideline.

LSU can rent a win without playing an FCS team. There are dozens if not hundreds of G5 and lower P5 teams that could be scheduled.
I feel like you just need anything to complain about. Those other G5 schools you're talking about cost more money to get to play over here. Auburn paid Tulane something like $2M if I remember correctly. LSU has consistently been one of the better OOC schedulers in the Power 5 so I'm not sure why you're acting like LSU is so dumb to schedule a game like this when you'd be hard pressed to find a single team in the SEC that will not be playing a game like this every single season.

But Grambling was always in a lower class of football.

If all you whiners spent half as much time educating yourself about what you're talking about. As you do complaining. You would know that isn't true. The really sad part about all this ignorance being spread. We live in a time where information is just a click away, if you really want it.

It's painfully obvious that you do since you asked for it. Now stop throwing a tantrum like some five year old because you can't manipulate somebody to do something for you. That you're being too lazy to do.

If you dont think a spinal injury resulting in paralysis is a near death experience....well youre just dumb.

I don't have to think about it at all. I was there and he was never in any danger of losing his life. What is normally the cause of death when someone has a spinal injure are pneumonia, pulmonary embolism, or septicemia. You can count on half a hand how many athlete died from spinal injures playing sports per injury.

Maybe you should have spent more time in class at LSU School of Veterinary Medicine instead of thinking everybody is dumb because they don't agree with you.
