Obviously

How do you know he didn't?
Apparently the other 10 players knew

the success or failure of a teams execution falls on the coaches

So O is to blame for Charks drops and Etlings overthrows vs Alabama?
There's 3-4 plays in that game that most would agree would have have hanged the outcome, that was O's fault?
What about Canada? He's the one who called those plays?

I'll answer as I have on multiple threads with a similar theme.
Shortened version:
Mixed results
Bad 1st part of season, some explained due to injuries and new system, but mistakes around the Troy game are on the HC
Solid improvement as the season progressed
Good effort vs Bama, but same results
Good, not great bowl

1st season is a push.

I'm neither an O supporter or anti-O. I was not for the hire, but no benefit in re-hashing the process. Phase II is how the team progresses/regresses going forward. I've seen enough to be encouraged at this point, but we need to see continued movement toward a contender status. I like the emphasis on building up front. If you don't win in the trenches you won't be successful.

Is it ok for me to say I hated the hire...cursed it so many ways I lost count...then we lost to Troy along with Miss ST blowout, and I went on some really hate filled rants...then we made a comeback against Auburn (who seemed to shift to neutral for whatever reason), and finished 9-3 without many quality wins, and feel kinda ambivalent? I mean...do I have to hate him or love him?

I will say that with O’s recruiting prowess along with Aranda and Canada, I’m cautiously optimistic...but that’s probably a very temporary situation. Do I think O can win with just avg or even slightly above avg coordinators? Nope

. My god dude. Yes coaches are to blame for lack of execution. In your world why would coaches ever be fired if it’s the players fault for failing to execute the plays that are called. You look really bad in this thread

. So it’s etlings and Charks fault for the bama loss. Cool. Why do head coaches have wins and losses if they get no blame or credit? It’s all on the players.

I guess the same reason some people say interim records don't count.

. Lol you are stupid. Miles was fired for the lack of execution with the offense for years. He didn’t get anyone with that post. It’s obvious to r11 miles shouldn’t have been fired because it was all the players fault for the offense struggling.

Did the 2013 season have a better overall talent than this year??? YES... Is it O's fault that the teams they had on the schedule sucked??? NO....

When Miles had ELITE talent and lost three games YES I was critical...

But I knew this was coming from you... You have hated the Hire and the guy they hired...

BTW.. Be honest... Did O do a better job this year than he did in any year at Ole Miss???????????

So when Bill Walsh went to Stanford and couldn’t win anything it wasn’t because his players couldn’t execute it was because he wasn’t a good coach. Lol sound logic once again.

I'll throw this out there.

I do blame Mickey Joseph for bad WR play. He's the weakest position coach we have and was hired to recruit N.O. I'd rather we hired a great WR coach that can recruit good WRs because he's that good at coaching.

That's absolutely on O. I've stated this multiple times. Didn't like the choice.

UH YES. are you under the impression Miles hasnt been blamed for qb execution. my god the revisionist history here is laughable.

the success or failure always fall on coaches and rightfully so.
