Perhaps the did poor job getting the right players?
Maybe they weren't good managers?
Maybe they didn't understand discipline?
Maybe their time just ran out? Pretty sure it was the OBC that said after 8-9 years most coaches wear out their welcome.
Maybe it was like your heros Les M situation, refuse to adapt and change?

Do you need more?

saying that a coach doesnt get blame for in game things meams he doesnt understand football at an elementary level.

using his logic the coach is never at fault. please co sign on that so we can laugh at you too.

Whether I am ok with it means nothing... I have a sense of reality.... it's not O's fault the teams we played had such bad records... is it... you play who is in front of you... everyone can keep talking about the schedule turned out all they want.....10-3 would be s good season for a first year HC with a new OC and playing a ton of freshman... that's all I have ever said... Miles had a ton more talent his 1st year and it showed by the results......

We won the west that year with essentially no bye and a "home game" in Arizona. But yea, totally the same as a season that included historic losses to State and Troy on homecoming.

its cute.

he talks about his knowledge of football. then when i ask him simple questions a middle school player knows he then posts something that just cements his lack of knowledge. wow the rant never ceases to amaze me.
why are all these coaches getting fired?
they had nothing to do with those losses. oh my god

yes it is.

quote:

Has to do with one simple fact.
Players are ultimately responsible for how a game ends up.
One group of players out executes the other.

Coaches don't miss key tackles.
Players do
Coaches don't overthrow a ball by a yard.
Players do
Coaches don't fumble.
Players do
Coaches don't miss fgs.
Players do
Coaches don't commit penalties.
Players do
Coaches don't drop balls.
Players do

Execution in the game falls completely on players shoulders.

using this logic the coach isnt at fault for any gameplay. who cares if you run into an 11 man front, a qb draw should go for 90 yards if the players EXECUTE.
wow bruh.

So Now you're resorting to making up your own narrative.
You Failed reading comprehension so you make shite up to fit your own agenda. Plus you are easily amused.

Other people I know who also do this rode the short bus to school and can be in most any town or city washing windows and push mowing grass.

i agree that football is about execution but there are things a coach can do to make sure execution is good.
coming out of a timeout O should've made damn clear what play we were running.
miles used to make execution hard by running into stacked boxes at times.

the success or failure of a team's execution falls on the coaches.

There's a reason I didn't mention play calling .
Halftime adjustments.
Key timeouts.
Trick plays.
Going for it on fourth down during key moment of the game.
Key moments to bring pressure.

You really are making yourself out to be the fool here by choosing to be smart arse.
Typical loudmouth douche bag behavior though. Congrats for keeping stereotype real!

You know, in 114 wins at LSU, I think Miles did a whole lot of this well.
