have you seen anything as far as game plan, clock management, in game adjustments that give miles the edge over o in coaching?

I'll answer that .

No.

O said numerous times this year they were going to focus on fixing what they can fix and move forward.
That's exactly what they did.

TOs and penalties were a non factor.
Oline improved.
ST play improved, outside of fg kicker.

I had my complaints about Miles. He didn't make adjustments and clock management was often an issue.

We never endured a 3 week shitstorm beginning with MSU and ending with Troy under Miles, not to mention Orgeron throwing everyone under the bus in the process. Miles never blamed anyone when things didn't go our way.

So in 2015 when we were 7-0 (instead of 8-0 having missed the cancelled McNeese game) and #2 in the Playoff Poll going into #4 ranked BAMA, you felt we were in a downward trend?

Interesting... Did you also predict the Powerball that week?

This is the kind of revisionism that people like myself want no part of. In order to say that we were trending downward from 2013, you need to tell me what you were thinking in 2015 when that's where we were sitting, because my guess is it'll be something along the lines of, "well yeah, that was our record, but I always knew it was smoke and mirrors. We were eventually going to tank, and look I was right!!!"

So...if that's the case then...that declarations of impending failure could be made in the face of an undefeated season, why it is suddenly out of bounds to talk about the facts of our current coach and this season's actual results when they are nowhere near undefeated?

Yep this team got better in every phase of the game as the season went on. Early with injuries and penalties they struggled but the penalties were eliminated and the freshmen improved every week.

What. The. frick.

Besides Miles winning a natl champ, playing for another one, winning the sec west three times, having a career winning percentage of what, 70%, and beating Ed O the three times they coached against each other...

No, I don't see anything that gives miles the edge over coach o in actual coaching.

Not just that but he also fumbled inside 5 yard line, and donte Jackson was tossed aside like a ragdoll for a 97 yard td, and then he fumbles a kickoff to give up another 3 points.

That game was clearly on player mistakes. But, look who came running in here, mo jeaux and goldrush, bashing O.

They are nothing but pathetic trolls

so offensive players looking lost on critical plays is no longer an indication of crap coaching?

Wait...you asked when Orgeron threw someone under the bus...I give you an exact quote of him doing exactly that...and your answer is to ask me a question about Miles?

Nope. How about we first address the fact that I gave you what you asked for. So did he, in fact, throw one of LSU's players under the bus?

Well I see o being flexible, addressing weaknesses, and focusing on getting an offense that is not completely predictable. Things that if miles would have done he would still be coaching. Miles hadn't done any of the things you said within last 5 years

...For an SEC title it means beating Alabama. Like it or not, in our division if you want to win the SEC west, you've got to win that game. (Unless you happen to be Alabama, then it doesn't matter) If you want to win the SEC you've got to win the division. If you want to go to the playoffs, you've got to win the SEC. Getting ten wins a year is absolutely no indicator of our ability to win that game. We've proven it over and over. These are things Miles was never going to do because he could not get past that first gate. Alabama has so decidedly owned him since his last win over them and he showed no signs of being able to change that.

If you're one of those who thinks we're all spoiled for wanting to win championships and "so many other teams would be thrilled to have this record". Fine... But why the hell did we do all this (spending millions to buyout Miles) if were already happy with that sort of performance?

No, his fumble and Jackson's 2 screw ups heavily contributed. Hard to overcome 4 major mistakes

and thats 2017 playing one of the worst schedules in 2 decades?
