Now some people are saying Magee > Hill

Who is saying this?

Hill is averaging 10 yards a touch. The TD run he had called back against Kent State was a thing of beauty. No one on the roster is even close to being on his level.

I didn't say Blue was better than Hill. I said that if Hill didn't play we would still have players who at some time in their career had shown the same flashes of brilliance that Hill had and would be more than capable of holding down the fort.

If you don't agree with this then go back and look at Hilliard and Blue in 2011. And it is a sad fact that Blue is not the same player he was before the injury although I think he is getting stronger and more confident with every game.

Magee has been a wonderful surprise and is now my favorite among the running backs. He is the equal of Hill but with a slightly different skill set.

And by the way, saying that you love Blue while making fun of his injury seems just a bit two faced.

These clowns definitely need to be called out. We have the deepest backfield in CFB.

I got blasted for saying Ford was the best back on the team before Hill broke through last year

I don't know if I said it, but I thought it. Blue was every bit as good as Hill was last year before the injury. And with the poo Hill got into this offseason, there was really little reason to believe Hill would be in playing shape until a few weeks of the season passed by.

Blue 2012 - 40 rushes, 270 yards, 6.8 avg, long of 37.

Hill 2012 - 142 carries, 755 yards, 5.3 Ypc, long of 57.

Call me a Blue optimist or someone who passed on the Hill Kool-Aid, but just do us all a favor and don't gloat because Blue has regressed.

Don't make me go to the rant history. MAN UP! Its ok. I love Blue too but I question some of your evaluation skills

90% of the rant before Blue got hurt last year.

not to knock Hill, but the holes the OL have made for him have been pretty awesome.

Blue is the most naturally gifted rb on the team. Doesnt mean he's the best though. Just that he has better talent. When he gets over the mental block he's got he'll be fine.

Hill is the best back and most gifted runner of the group. He just has that natural, subtle feel for where and when the hole is opening. Its kind of like comparing Emmitt Smith or Walter Payton to guys significantly better talents than them. Those 2 just had better feels for running than most. Hill has that quality.

This is the reason why I dislike LSU's running back system. People will fall in love with a different back from week to week, it's annoying.
