correct, it has made the young QB's play before they really were ready. JJ doing well though.

Yep

We need to remember the that the QB touches the ball every play

It's a fairly important position to maintain with upperclassman

Confused as to what position RP plays. He is behind the line, not on it.

I dont blame Perrilloux, I blame the coaches for letting him geaux. He used a fake ID and got into a fight outside a bar after the mother of his child was threatened, and he went to his fathers funeral.

What else do we KNOW he did "wrong"?

Jeferson's ability is very good for a virtual true freshman. Learning to be an SEC QB is a process that takes time. Something our geek fanbase does not want to give our young players.

I would have liked going into our SEC schedule last season with a mentally balanced and SEC experienced RP at QB, but then I would like to know the winning lottery numbers for next Wednesday's drawing as well.

Anyone know the last time a 19 yr old QB did well in his 1st SEC season???

Which would you rather have at this moment: Perrilloux--or Florida's o-line?
I think we all know the answer to that question, and it has nothing to do with RP...

RP did a lot of little stuff, some we probably do not know. There are many college football players who have done worse and are still playing.

One year suspension should have been given as a probationary period. I know he was given many chances before, but again.....there are guys playing who have done much worse.

Don't blame RP. Good, elite teams have capable backups. We are not an elite team, obviously.

You have got to be a complete horse's arse if you think RP is the cause of our CURRENT situation...give me a fking break....he is not the one out there blocking like a group of feeble, incontinent old ladies or gettng blown off the ball on the D side of things....jeez.....JJ is not setting the world on fire but he aint steppin on his cock either....perspective dude..come on!!!

+1, it was kind of crazy the way so many fans were calling to get rid of him at the time over basically nothing. It was like some kind of bizzaro world. It was a bold move by Miles to get rid of him knowing what the QB situation would be with out him. I don't think many other coaches would of had the balls but I don't think it was necessary.

losing Perrilloux and starting JL last year and JJ this year is the same as the years after OU lost Bomar and started Paul Thompson.
