Completely fine if it points to that. But the guy that was directly in front of the player stated it didn’t happen that way.
His statement completely corroborates what was reported to have happened by the police. Lacy passed 4 vehicles, including an 18 wheeler, on a 2 lane road at a minimum of 60 MPH.
This action caused the driver of a truck traveling in the opposite direction to not only slow down and move to the side of the road, but to completely exit the road.
None of this can be disputed. Lacy is on video doing it and the driver admits to leaving the road because a car was coming head on.
The woman’s negligence is a separate matter, and in no way absolves Lacy of his actions. Further, her “negligence” is pure speculation. No one knows what she was doing for sure.

I’m all for accountability. Just don’t know if the charges he was facing were right.
Negligent homicide may have been a stretch. Felony hit and run, speeding, illegal passing and reckless operation of a vehicle most certainly were not.

I think Les Miles deserves all the hate he gets for screwing college coeds in a campus apartment while his wife is at home. I think Guice is a scumbag for the what he did. I think Lael Collins got absolutely screwed ahead of the draft. I also think Lacy was a head case most of the time he played for the Tigers but that doesn’t make him a criminal.
No. The criminal things that Lacy did made him a criminal.
quote:
You seem pretty dead set Lacy should have been hung out to dry and I’m simply trying to understand the full story as I wasn’t at the accident site
He was mostly responsible for a fatal crash. Yes, he deserved to be charged and convicted for the crimes he committed that lead to that death.

Driving like a selfish idiot with zero fear of consequences and putting innocent people in danger. Cry me a fkn river.
Our roads are significantly safer without KL on them.

He wouldn’t have offed himself if he was innocent

Hard not to argue with their track record.

Why did they charge him with homicide without all the evidence?
Because the LSP treated it as an open and shut case. The investigation leaves a lot to be desired as does trying to put words in gold truck drivers account of accident.

And that trooper needs to be investigated.
Do we have a name for the trooper?

Exactly!!! That's Detective Colombo 101.

You do realize the initial responding officer handled the initial accident. LSP have fatality reconstruction experts that do a very detailed reconstruction. Then detectives take over from everything collected in most instances and are the actual affiant on warrants.

His first phone call, less than 10 minutes after the collision, was to a personal injury attorney.

did this really happen?
What college girl would want to sleep with Les Miles
was he paying girls to come over?

Well, for starters you’re missing the fact that the driver of the truck acknowledged there was a vehicle coming head on at a high rate of speed. You’re also missing that he admitted to having to move to the side of the road and ultimately into a parking area to feel safe. The third thing you’re missing is literally everyone else that was at the scene told officers that the green charger caused the accident.
Now, it's a different story once actual facts - and not selective facts - come out. Hope none of them would ever be on my jury. Yeesh.
