People freaking out about injuries

Yes, it obviously sucks but every team is going to have some significant injuries. Next man up.

It’s WHO is getting injured that particularly stings. Our best offensive player with a significant knee injury and now not only a key defensive chess piece out for year but our defensive leader at minimum gonna miss significant time. All in the first 1/3 of the season. Just really stings with suboptimal depth.

true, injuries always occur, and they can wreck a season if you have to0 many.
it's different now, and more critical, though, because you cannot load up on depth with the current rule structure. But you are right, you just have to roll with the flow. If injuries ruin your chances at a championship run, that's just the way it is. everyone has this problem.
where i can tend to get steamed about it is teams like Notre Dame with cupcake schedules which increases their odds of getting through their schedule with fewer significant injuries. SEC and Big 10 are going to suffer bloodbaths in this era. Like that great philosopher Rastus once observed - "It is what it is" ( it iyah what it iyah),
