He's been pretty inaccurate tonight. A few decent throws and they'd be right there.

This should pretty much settle the “Penix should have gotten the Heisman” talk.

The kid is nowhere near as bad as he played in this game, but yes, now the heisman talk can shut up.

His receivers also dropped a few easy ones but yeah, he wasn’t good tonight.

Slow, long and 3/4 arm delivery, no mobility and a previous knee injury not to mention he’s a lefty. I just don’t see it. Possibly a really solid backup that plays 10 years in the league but not a starter. I only see 3 of those and we all know who they are. He also has issues not being able to look off receivers and deliver the ball. Too many times he locked on a guy with his eyes and Michigan’s defense saw it.

He was playing timid tonight anyway. Even before he got hurt he was constantly not stepping into throws and throwing off balance anticipating hits. That would be a red flag if I’m an NFL GM. When he has time he can throw for sure but tonight was a definite question mark for him
