Downloading the app and the tickets wasn’t too bad. But transferring the tickets is another thing altogether!

And what if you don’t have a smart phone? And what if you can’t get on the internet to have your ticket scanned due to the everyone else trying to get in the Internet?

Just to be safe, can you print the bar code for transferring or entry?

I'd recommend adding them to your apple wallet in advance. No internet needed upon entry.

The whole shite was an unnecessary hassle...seems like a ploy to make us download the app instead of a ticket delivery method. However, once I got the app downloaded, the whole thing was pretty seamless.

Be sure to drop your tickets to your wallet in case you don’t have connectivity at the game.

No you can’t. You also can’t use a screen shot. The bar code is constantly changing on your ticket because sellers were using the tickets before the buyer.

It’s good in theory but they’re acting like technical difficulties never happen. It's almost impossible to get your phone to load on LSU's campus on gameday so if they make it to where you can't take a screenshot it's going to be an epic shite show when they go to this.

I have never used Apple Wallet so I am unfamiliar with the process. I’m concerned I will screw it up somehow...I don’t even know how to find it in Wallet once I put the tickets there. When I open the app, it gives me two choices. Scan Code or Find Apps for Wallet. When I select Find Apps for Wallet, a large selection of apps show up for me to Get. Within Wallet, Is an app for Peach Bowl tickets automatically created or do I have to download an app there also?

There are lot of older people...including myself....that just aren’t tech savvy or at least is uncomfortable with it all.

Apple wallet is on your phone as an automatic when you purchase an iPhone. It’s an app that looks like and is titled wallet. When you put something in the wallet the screen looks like card slots that are in a wallet. Just click on the card you want. When you want to add something it’s usually a 2 click process. Click on “add to apple wallet” then “add” will appear in the upper right hand corner and click on it. Sorry so long. Hope this helps.

Worked like a charm for me. Downloading and transferring. The LSU ticket office also told me that the NC tickets (fingers crossed) will be transmitted by app. I'll take a wait-and-see on that one. They also reiterated the above comment that all tickets going forward will be transmitted this way, including Regular Season and post-season.

Question: How will this affect selling tickets into the secondary market. Pushing prices up or down (and why)?

That would suck if regular season tickets are only digital! There are 4 of us season ticket holders under one account and there is always a lot of trading and selling.

All sports teams are switching to this for information gathering purposes. Get ready to get blown up with emails and calls about buying tickets...

Each of the 4 of you creates your own account with the app (just like the Peach Bowl). The ticket office sends ALL tickets to the app holder that has the same email address as your LSU Ticket Office account (there can only be one email address at the LSU Ticket Office; you should already know who that is). Whoever that person is - your designee of the group of 4 - then transfers the tickets to the other 3 app holders - or any app holder for that matter. Caution: confirm with the sender and make damn sure your email address is correct!! From there, you can transfer yet again to anyone you please.
Don't try to find problems for this solution!

Or you just create a shared password for all seat partners to use the account with. Multiple users can be logged into the app under the same account at the same time

You're inviting unimaginable problems. Waaaay too many chefs stirring the pot. Designate one person and one person only as the lead dog.

LSU better be planning on upgrading cell service around campus if they're doing this. If you can take a screenshot it's no big deal. But if you need an app to load because you can't take a screenshot because of the rotating barcode you'd be fricked.

Huh? Took about 30 seconds to complete the transfer.
